Creating a SFA-Diagram without ovals of the flows

Hello everybody

I created a Substance Flow Model using STAN. Now for a report I would like to present the diagram without the ovals of the flows. Just to show the flows between the processes and the name of the flow. I don't want the values oder Flownumbers to show up. If possible I would like to hide the ovals as well.

Anybody knows if you can do this with STAN? Your support is appreciated

Thank you!

Patrick

Hi Patrick!

At the moment you can hide the oval shapes only with a little trick:
  1. Go to "Extras > Options > tab Processes & Flows" and select "Use alternative text for unknown values". Click OK. Inside of the oval shapes you will now see a question mark (= default setting) if the flow value is not known.
  2. You can now change the alternative text for each flow separately (on flow properties window > tab "Values"). If you delete the alternative text of a flow completely the oval will be hidden (if no data is given!). -> delete the alternative text of all the flows in your model.
  3. Click the data button in the toolbar to display calculated values (little red arrow must point out of blue rectangle). If no calculation has been performed so far, all oval shapes will be gone. If calculated results are already available, change one of the given input value temporarily. By doing this the calculated results will be reset/deleted.
