Is it possible to solve parametric model (like Austria PVC model solved using Gabi, Excel, and Umberto given in Practical handbook for MFA) using STAN? Hoping for a quick response. You can define linear relationships of flows. that might be the closed to what I understand when i hear parametric model? But you may elaborate your question, a bit. For example "Austria PVC Model", this example is provided for a solution using Gabi. I wanted to solve using Stan Sample equation: Export Rate = X value Sales = Y value Export = Export Rate*Sales Thank you for your response. Hi Nikita,

if you go to Edit > Edit relation... you can define linear relationships of the processes.
I just tried that for the year 1960, as you can see in the screenshot below.
I just defined 2 relationships and set the values for recycling and sales in 1960.

However, as Stan is not able to work with non-linear fuctions you need to calculate the sales rate (hird-order polyno-mial function) outside STAN (in Exccel for instance and copy the values into STAN [FAQ as a section on how to import values from excel)
