Thank you for the guide on how to install STAN on a Mac.
Actually, there is a faster way without requiring the use of Terminal by installing. You can use a Wine Wrapper such as Whisky ( getwhisky.app/ ) and then directly run the STAN Windows installation app. Everything completely with graphic user interface. It is also easy to share files between the mac and the Whisky "Windows" folder just by drag and drop.
I don't know if this method is equally stable but it works on my Mac so far. Attached you find a screenshot running STAN2.7 inside Whisky 2.3.5 on a Macbook with M2 Apple Silicon MacOS Tahoe 26.2.
